50 cities. 20 million people. Very few DJs can claim that they play to that much of the population every year. DJ Goofy Whitekid is heard by that many people every week.
Based in Tampa Bay, Florida, DJ Goofy Whitekid is an official iHeartRadio DJ, appearing weekly on the Spin*Cycle channel, on iHeartRadio stations across the US, and at major events like the iHeartRadio Music Festival and the iHeartRadio Ultimate Pool Party: Fontainbleau Miami Beach. Along with a demanding live event and studio production schedule, DJ Goofy Whitekid produces "The Show," a weekly syndicated mixshow heard on radio stations around the world.
This exposure has netted him many opportunities to travel and rock crowds from Florida to California, appearing at festivals and clubs next to names like Calvin Harris, LL Cool J, Weezer, Justin Bieber, Maroon 5, T.I., Will.i.am, 311, and the world champion Pittsburgh Steelers.
DJ Goofy Whitekid also appears weekly on 93.3 FLZ, Tampa Bay's most listened to radio station, and at club and live events across the Tampa Bay area, including the station's yearly Jingle Ball concert. As the official DJ of 96.1 KISS in Pittsburgh from 2004 to 2008, he and Wiz Khalifa's tour DJ Bonics made up what go Magazine called "Pittsburgh's top deejay tandem." He has also been a yearly resident DJ for the Otakon convention series in Baltimore, MD, the Schaeffer Eye Center Crawfish Boil in Birmingham, AL, and the Gasparilla Pirate Festival in Tampa, FL.
Prior to his 4 year stint as one of Pittsburgh's elite party rockers, DJ Goofy Whitekid appeared on radio stations and in nightclubs in Harrisburg, PA and State College, PA, where the convergence of New York hip-hop, Philadelphia dance music, Baltimore club, D.C. go-go and Pittsburgh classic rock informed his wide musical palette.
He's originally from Harrisburg, PA, and has something like three classes left at Penn State University. He might actually take them someday.
And about the name? Well, just take a look at him.
